Really dude, don't get a crappy old bike just to save some money. The country is very hilly everywhere, also in the capital, Tbilisi. You should get a powerful scooter or motorbike to make sure that you can drive up and down easily. When you drive from city to city you have to use the highways as well. You don’t want to go on a highway (with a maximum speed of 110 km/h) with a not powerful bike.

Make sure that your driving license is valid for driving a scooter of 125 CC. (Driving License Class B) Georgia accept EU driving licenses but it is advisable also to take your international driving license (IDP) with you. If you are not sure if your license is valid for powerful motorbikes make a research before starting.

Then you are on a street where you have to guess which line you are driving at the moment together with a lot of crazy drivers. If you are driving a scooter for the first time you should try to avoid this city highway.
