Compared to Tbilisi Kutaisi doesn’t have a lot of high class hotels. But the Newport Hotel is one of them. It’s a 4-star-hotel housed in the former courtyard building from 1914 and has 34 well designed rooms. The owners restored the acade to its original appearance. It’s probably one of the most beautiful buildings where you can stay in Kutaisi.
The Newport Hotel has its own restaurant which offers georgian dishes as well as other international meals. If you feel like having a drink after dinner you can directly go to the hotel bar and enjoy a cocktail with a great view over Kutaisi from the rooftop.
